Atom Probe Tomography (APT) is a materials analysis technique that allows one to get a 3D elemental mapping of materials, down to the atomic scale. Given its remarkable spatial resolution and elemental sensitivity, APT is an indispensable characterisation tool to understand various atomic scale phenomena, and has contributed to significant advances in materials science.
Attend this workshop for a demonstration of the capabilities of the Local Electrode Atom Probe (LEAP) in IITM, a national facility which is also the first remotely operable LEAP in the world.
